The 2024 LPGA Tour is the 75th edition of the LPGA Tour, a series of professional golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world. The season will begin at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions, in Orlando, Florida on January 18, and will end on November 24, at the Tiburón Golf Club in the CME Group Tour Championship at Naples, Florida.[1] The tournaments are sanctioned by the United States-based Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA).

Schedule and results

[edit]

The number in parentheses after each winners' name is the player's total number of wins in official money individual events on the LPGA Tour, including that event. Tournament and winner names in bold indicate LPGA majors. The schedule and purse amount for each tournament is listed on the LPGA website.[2] The LPGA has a standard formula for payout percentages and distribution of its purse and prize money for every event. The winner typically gets 15% of the total, second place gets 9.3%, third place 6.75%, etc.[3]

The official purse for 2024 is $116.55 million, up from $102.35 million in 2023.[1] The U.S. Women's Open on February 1, announced an increase of $1 million to $12 million, the highest purse in women's golf, pushing the new total to $117.55 million in 2024.[4] The Chevron Championship increased its purse from $5.1 million to $7.9 million. Total purse for 2024 is now $123.25 million.[5] The JM Eagle LA Championship (Apr 25-28) raised its purse $750,000 from $3 million to $3.75 million, and the winner's share for the 15% from $450,000 to $562,500 one of the largest non-major winner’s shares on the Tour.[6] Total purse for 2024 is now $124.0 million. The Amundi Evian Championship on June 6, increased its purse from $6.5 million to $8 million.[7] Total purse for 2024 is now $125.5 million. The FM Championship would raise the purse to $3.8 million. Total purse for 2024 is $125.8 million. The AIG Women's Open increased its purse to $9.5 million. Total purse for 2024 is $126.3 million.
